The fascinating route begins from the territory of the hotel complex, runs through the Transcarpathian region and leads to the foot of the mountain to the base "Zaroslyak", where Hoverla will capture your eyes and soul and wait for it to the top!

Route Duration:
From the complex to the foot of G. Goverla on a car 37 km (about 1.30 hours);
Then on foot on a mountain 3.8 km (approximately 2.5-3 hours);
(total route duration is approximately 9 hours);

You can get: order a taxi on a reception/ transfer/ actually car.

Have everything you need from clothing (comfortable closed shoes/ hat/ hooded jacket), dry -up. The raincoat is purchased at the foot of the mountain (if not used after the excursion to be exchanged for a magnet).

Routes and complexity levels

Goverl's hiking occurs exclusively on well -explored marked routes. It will not be possible to improvise in the mountains! The peaks of the Carpathians have their own character and are only allowed to be trampled. Among the best options you can choose:

1. A route with red and green signs. They lead to different paths to the top, but before conquering the highest point, they merge into one. The trails are quite crowded, but in 2-3 hours everyone can overcome 4.3 km of gentle, calm ascent.


2. The route is marked with blue signs. The path seems to be not much shorter — it is 3.7 km, but the difference in height is quite noticeable. The paths are steeper, so the intensive tour to Hoverla takes the same amount of time. To tell the truth, this route can be quite difficult for beginners, and even more so for those without minimal physical training.


3. The route is marked with yellow. A full-fledged journey along mountain paths that leads tourists to Lake Nesamovyte, and then to the marked red route through the peaks of Pozhyzhevsk, Breskul and to the majestic Hoverla. This particular route can take about 2 days to climb, so you should plan a camping trip.




On the advice of experienced climbers, to climb and descend from Hoverla is better in different ways to maximize with various impressions and landscapes.

How is the rise?

An exciting trip to Hoverla begins at the reception of the Stara Pravda Hotel, where you can call a taxi or book a comfortable transfer to the Zaroslyak Sports and Tourist Centre to cover the first 37 km of the journey easily and quickly.

The main routes start from the foot of the mountain, for which you need to plan about 6 hours for ascent and descent, and a one-way transfer from the hotel is 1.5 hours. Together with the tour organisers, you choose:

• the route of ascent and descent;


• a comfortable speed and pace of ascent;


• make a stock of things, water, snacks and additional equipment needed for the climb;


• discuss stops in interesting locations.
