Off-road tours are a recreation activity that can be friendly, noisy, extreme, and adventurous.

Routes:

There are up to 10 routes. Along the routes, you can see the canyon, cascades, waterfalls, mountain meadows, overland, peaks, and endless views of the mountains.

With us, you can visit such Carpathian peaks as Makovytsia, Synyachka, Gorgan (Kostel).

We offer tours to such places of Yaremche region as the KNPP aviary farmstead, the Divochi Slozy (Maiden’s Tears) Waterfall, the Huk waterfall, the Panorama estate in Yaremche, the monastery of Peter and Paul in Dora that houses the Andrei Sheptytsky Museum. 

Route duration:

• minimum – 2 to 3 hours;
• average  – 3 to 4 hours;
• maximum – 4 to 6 hours. 

Additional services:

Skyta Rafting Club is about your unrestrained emotions, exciting experience, and memories for life! We have been organizing outdoor activities in the Carpathians for more than 7 years. We offer rafting down the Chornyi Cheremosh River and the Prut for all comers. Every year we improve the service, upgrade the equipment, and make sure our guests are provided with conditions of the high level.

What is included:

•  round-trip transfers;
• rental of modern suits and shoes;

The trip duration:

Helicopter flight over the Carpathian Mountains.

Everyone will find something special during the flight over the mountains – there are those who will enjoy the untouched beauty of the Carpathians and those who will get their dose of thrills.

How it happens:

You call or write us about your desire to fly over the Carpathian Mountains. We will give you detailed information, then you book a helicopter and everything starts at the agreed time.

We meet you in the center of Verkhovyna near the monument to Taras Shevchenko (our office is located there) or pick you at your place. We arrive at the airfield and introduce you to the pilot.

Then there comes a time to complete the preflight briefing.

Then we go for the flight on Robinson – R44 helicopter over the Carpathian peaks. The flight lasts 55 minutes.

Then we return to the airfield, land, and return back to your place.

Parachute jumping is an activity for those who can’t imagine their life without thrills! 

Tandem jump – 3,000 m (9,842.5 ft)

A jump with an instructor from a height of 3,000 meters; the instructor controls the parachute; subject to a briefing on safety and conduct in the air.

Freefall time: up to 40 seconds

Age limits: 14-17 years old (parents shall be present)

Weight limit: up to 120 kg.

Unassisted jump – 700 m (2,297 ft.)

A jump without an instructor from a height of 700 m; the parachute opens automatically; a 3-hour briefing and training of the parachute diver shall be performed before the jump.

Free fall time – 2-3 seconds

Age limit: 14-17 years old (parents shall be present)

Weight limit: up to 100 kg.

Jumps are performed every weekend (from March to November) subject to favorable weather conditions. Aircraft: AN-2.

Mountain Valley Peppers – recreation activities to your liking!

We hold master classes:

• wood carving
• pottery
• weaving bedspreads and carpets
• we offer a unique relaxation experience in the hay wearing Hutsul clothes

We revive the traditions:

• You will be greeted by a master of the valley and live music;
• For you, an old Hutsul hut was restored and turned into staya (seasonal house) with vaternik (a room with a fireplace);
• There is a collection of old Hutsul things; 
• There is a possibility to experience sheep grazing and
• making budz, vurda, brynza.

Within the spruce forest, we have arranged:

• children’s and sports grounds;
• gazebos and fireplaces;
• wells and forest trails;
• an alley of stone and wooden sculptures.

• buy souvenirs and organic products (cheese, jams, lard, mushrooms, liqueurs, etc.).

Tour to Hoverla

It’s time to visit the highest peak of the Ukrainian Carpathians, the true symbol of Ukraine – Hoverla mountain (2,061 m or 6762 ft.). Tours to Hoverla always enable hikers to captures the grandeur of landscapes that extend to hundreds of kilometers. This is an opportunity to test their strength and see the Carpathian Mountains in all their glory.

Duration:

The distance from the complex to the foot of Hoverla is 37 km or 23 miles (it takes about 1  hour 30 min by car).

The hike to the mountain is 3.8 km or 2.36 miles (It takes about 2.5 to 3 hours)

And the way back is the same (the total duration of the route for about 9 hours).

Make sure you have all necessary items with you (convenient closed footwear/ hat/ hooded jacket), boxed lunch. A raincoat can be purchased at the foot of the mountain (if not used you can exchange it for a magnet after the tour).

Visit Ukraine’s first park of living dinosaurs and giant insects.

There are 24 dinosaurs of different periods and 10 contemporary predators exhibited outdoor. All of them move their tails, turn their heads, blink, and make a loud noise.

Upside-Down House is an unusual architectural construction with an area of 85 square meters. This is the first building of its kind in Ukraine. The Upside Down House is famous not only for its uncommon structure but also for its content. For example, inside you can see a real home. There is a kind of utility room or attic on the first floor of the house. You can get to the second floor (which is actually still the first) by the massive wooden stairs. There is massive furniture, paintings, kitchen, and bathroom, and all the items are nailed to the ceiling. There is a large market with souvenirs and local products near the house. Here you can find all kinds of herbs, teas, honey, roots, mushrooms, and drinks.

Roller Coaster Zipline or Bukovel Slopes is a zip line suspended on ropes between trees. It has ascents, descents, and steep turns. This adventure park is suitable for both children and adults.

The total length of the Roller Coaster Zipline is more than 500 meters or 1,640 feet. It is arranged at a height of up to 15 meters or 49 feet.
